Cheshire & Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CWP) are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Nursing Associate to recruit to a Band 4 at Ancora House the in-patient child and adolescent mental health service. Ancora house has 2 inpatient wards, Coral and Indigo. They provide person centered acute care for young people aged 14-18.

You will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team and you will be required to work on a rotational shift basis, which includes days, nights, and twilight shifts. The post offers the successful applicant the exciting opportunity to join this team in providing the highest quality of care for our service users.

Ancora House is based on the Countess of Chester Health Park Site approximately 1.5 miles from Chester city centre.

Deliver high quality, compassionate care under the direction of a Registered Nurse with a focus on promoting health and independence.

Work as part of a designated clinical and care team delivering care that focuses on the direct needs of the individual.

Carry out specific delegated clinical and care tasks and responsibilities to a high standard and competency, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse.

Develop understanding of all elements of the nursing process and be able to assist the registered nurse in the on-going assessment, planning, management and evaluation of care.

Support individuals with all aspects of care including daily living, providing person-centred care and promoting health and independence through awareness raising and care navigation to other professionals as appropriate.

Ensure the privacy, dignity and safety of individuals is maintained at all times.

CWP provides health and care services for local people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care - including the provision of three GP surgeries.
