At Thrifty Car and Van Rental are, we are recruiting for a proactive Rental Agent to join our team at our Aylesbury branch location.

The key purpose of this role is to provide flexible support to branch operations and assisting all areas of the Branch to ensure that an outstanding level of customer service is provided at all times and as per Thrifty company standards.

**Main duties of a Rental Agent**:

- Identifying sales opportunities and pass to Manager and/or Account Manager.
- Taking telephone calls and assisting customers in the branch.
- Assisting Service Delivery Agents and Vehicle Valeters with key tasks
- Fuelling cars promptly and accurately along with completion of fuel sheets accurately and clearly
- To ensure the security of the compound and vehicles
- Delivering and collecting vehicles to and from our customers, ensure security checks completed and resolve, and converse with any rental questions, details or problems
- To monitor the ready bays, keeping clear of unwashed vehicles
- Conducting fleet checks when requested
- Assist with the check in of new stock
- Monitoring and maintaining service schedules to ensure vehicles are off hire for the shortest possible time frame
- Ensure all de-fleet procedures are correctly followed including, valeting, any signage/stickers removal, debowsing and photographing in line with company procedures

**What is required for this role?**
- Full driving licence with no more than 9 points
- Hardworking and able to work in a very fast paced environment
- You must have held a full driving licence for more than 12 months
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience is a similar role is highly desirable
- Flexibility to work shifts across the week as the branch is open on weekends
**What is on offer?**
- Hourly rate of £9.42 + OTE
- Although no hours can be guaranteed for this role, we are looking for people who can be flexible with their hours
- Potential to earn bonus payments above your basic salary
