Hotel Receptionist

We are looking for a Full Time Receptionist to join our team. Previous experience in a similar, customer facing role is essential.Key responsibilities:
You will be the first point of contact for the hotel, welcoming guests, check guests in and out of the hotel, deal with guest queries, provide prompt and professional guest service to meet guest needs and ensure guest satisfaction.
Good communication skills, and level of English - both written and spoken;
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a ‘can do’ attitude.
You will be working closely with other departments. Liaise with necessary staff including housekeeping and maintenance to address any problems or complaints made by guests
Answer and direct incoming calls.
Inform guests of hotel rates and services.
Make and confirm reservations for guests & ensure correct room allocation
Register and check guests in.
Confirm relevant guest information & verify guest's payment method.
Issue room keys and direct guests to their rooms.
Maintain clear and accurate records of guest room bookings & accurately post charges to guest rooms and house accounts
Listen and respond to guest queries and requests both in-person and by phone.
Provide accurate information about local attractions and services.
Deal with all conference enquiries, making reservations and collecting all details and sending contracts.
Cash handling and other administrative tasks.
Keeping reception tidy at all times.
Own transport (not public) is required due to location of the hotel.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £26,500.00 per year
