**SEND Teaching Assistant**

- Location: Barrow-in-Furness
- Position: Full-Time / Part-Time - Temp to Perm
- Weekdays only, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

**About the role**

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you'll support children with a range of needs, helping them engage with a differentiated curriculum that makes learning fun and accessible. You’ll work in a specialist school setting with small class sizes and amazing facilities like sensory rooms and soft play areas. Every day is an opportunity to be creative, energetic, and part of a team of professionals who are committed to helping students reach their full potential.

**Key responsibilities**
- Support students with SEND in engaging with the differentiated curriculum
- Encourage participation in engaging, hands-on activities that promote learning and social development
- Work alongside a team of professionals, including speech and language therapists, to provide tailored support
- Assist with offsite visits and outdoor learning opportunities

**What we’re looking for**
- Experience working with children with SEND, either in a care or educational setting
- A relevant degree or a qualification in care, health and social care, or a teaching assistant qualification
- A passion for supporting children to achieve their best
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow in the role

Pay: £91.00-£105.00 per day
