Scm Logistics Lead

The** SCM Logistics Lead **at AllPoints Fibre** **will be a vital member of the Procurement and Supply Chain team, effectively supporting in the management of all in-life products and operational execution of our outsourced partner and forward logistics partner contracts to meet agreed customer SLAs. Reporting directly to the Senior SCM Logistics Manager, you will play a crucial role in helping to execute the optimisation of our supply chain operations, partners, enhancing efficiency, and implementing Initiatives for _supply chain savings and_ contributing to the overall success of the organisation.

**What you will be doing**:
**1.** **In-Life Product Support**:

- Support forecasting, inventory management, planning and disposal of obsolete and slow-moving stock working closely with service providers.

**2. Outsourced Partner Contract Adherence.**
- Administration of order processing, delivery, and quality control.
- Resolve or escalate any operational issues and maintain a strong partnership our vendors/partners

**3. Forward Logistics Partner Cont**r**act adherence**:

- Support the seamless execution of contracts.
- Resolve or escalate any operational issues and maintain strong partnerships

**4. Build Partner Support**:

- Undertake quarterly site stock takes with Build Partners across the UK in conjunction with Finance partner requirements, working closely with the Build Operations Team where needed.

**5. Operational Excellence**:

- Continuously enhance supply chain processes to drive efficiency, reduce lead times, and optimise inventory levels including supporting the disposal of obsolete stock.
- Support the implementation of best practices for procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution to meet service level agreements.
- Escalate issues with logistics partners to expedite resolution.
- Support and optimise processes of logistics arrangements (including reverse logistics) with suppliers and vendors on a just-in-time basis.
- Support with adds, moves and changes to the installation technician estate.
- Support Build Partner stock / materials audits at Build Partner sites and in other UK based locations (including 3rd party warehouse partners)
- Support budget spend, delivering Savings (Embedded & Cost Avoidance).

**6.** **Supplier Relationship Support**:

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with other 3rd party suppliers where needed.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular evaluations, and drive supplier development initiatives with regular engagement with the CCM processes.

**7. Risk Management and Compliance**:

- Help Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and ethical practices.
- Help support with the Implementation of robust contingency plans to address potential disruptions to the supply chain.

**8. Data Analysis and Reporting**:

- Utilise data analytics and reporting tools to track key supply chain metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to inform decision-making and savings.

**About you**:
You will be a strategic thinker with excellent problem solving abilities and a results orientated mindset. You'll be proficient in data analysis and confident using supply chain systems. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and enjoy collaborating cross departmentally and cross functionally.

A business degree/L3 Diploma is desirable.
