What You Will Do
- Help develop the operating system and software platform running on our bespoke hardware products
- Define and design appropriate technical solutions to address specified requirements
- Take ownership of feature development from solutions requirements through to deployment into production
- Write and develop high quality code
- Conduct code reviews to continually keep the code base at a high standard
- Create documentation of common components
- Work closely with other developers in building features and system efficiency
- Help and mentor more junior developers to progress their knowledge
- Regularly collaborate with designers, developers and product owners to create usable, fast and efficient software
- Identify and keep abreast of emerging technology
What You Will Have
- Demonstrable experience working in software development teams
- Broad experience in developing solutions in a.NET core environment
- Proficiency in some of the following development technologies: C#,.NET Core, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C++, Embedded C
- Experience working in Linux environments
- Experience in using CI/CD tools, e.g. Azure DevOps, git, Azure pipelines
- Team player, flexible and able to work in a highly collaborative environment
- Experience of working in an agile development environment
