Planner

A client of ours in the Maldon area are recruiting a Planner to join their team. This is a full-time long term temporary position working 40 hours a week Monday - Friday between 8.00am - 6.00pm, paying £12.00 - £13.50 per hour depending on experience.

This role is to oversee the safety, coordination of inventory operations with supply chain and manufacturing departments achieving customer satisfaction.

**Your key duties in this planner specialist role will include but are not limited to**:

- Manage the reporting for manufactured raw materials ensuring stock is updated.
- Plan and highlight requirements for additional labour to meet the customer demand.
- Schedule production replenishment, maximising production efficiencies.
- Monitor production updates to accurately update the planning tool, it's data base and ERP system.
- Analyse historical data and monitor inventory levels and propose any changes to current stock holding levels with commercial team and ensure these are maintained.
- Monitor and plan the accuracy of jobs and the completion times
- Measure and monitor daily KPI's and tracking on up-to-date visual management boards.
- Present data and improvement opportunities for the departments.

**Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Planner role**:

- Experience with planning techniques and working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in team leading within manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of non-woven, extrusion and conversion processes desirable.
- Resilient and can adapt well to change and re-plan
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Communication - Presents ideas, facts and data clearly in both verbal and reporting formats. Can effectively communicate with the team and management.
