We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager with a passion for marketing and a focus on achieving commercial and retention objectives. You will join our newly formed Group Marketing Function and work the wider teams including Digital, PR & Communicationsteams to ensure successful marketing planning, and will have support from external agencies.
As Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with the Head of Marketing, key stakeholders, and the shared services team to create and implement strategic marketing approaches and activity plans. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring, refining,and delivering marketing activity plans and providing comprehensive briefs for campaigns. You will report on ROMI and support financial planning, budget management, and spend forecasting.
**What you'll be doing**
- Own the Marketing strategy supporting marketing activity and collaborate with key stakeholders
- Conduct research, competitor analysis and market knowledge sharing to provide ongoing analysis and support for business planning process
- Foster collaboration between sales, product, and marketing teams to optimize information sharing and inform business growth
- Ensure marketing plans align with overarching Schools marketing plan and leverage demand generation approaches to optimize marketing channels and platforms
- Manage monthly reporting to Head of Marketing, Marketing Director, SMT, and business stakeholders, including campaign evaluation, financial management, and marketing activity reporting
- Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to support marketing approaches and consensus on direction and methods of travel
- Provide comprehensive briefing and ongoing support for shared services to implement campaigns and analyze data for customer retention, cross sell/upsell, and new business pipeline generation
- Liaise with communications team on PR opportunities and champion use of pipeline management processes, CRM & Marketing Automation tools for campaign management and lead/opportunity management.

**Experience you’ll need**
- Proven relevant industry experience within a similar Strategic Marketing Manager role
- Creative and market-leading insights to drive brand value of software solutions
- Commercial awareness to maximize value from marketing initiatives
- Passion for marketing and desire to stay updated with industry knowledge
- Strong project management skills and understanding of demand-generation techniques
- Ability to manage a team effectively and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills and judgment
- Previous experience in education or the public sector
- Flexibility for occasional travel and alternative hours
