Principal Resourcing are actively looking to recruit an experienced individual to work in one of their partnership schools based in Bradford, BD3, as a Business Support Officer. The role will be to start 31st August and will be an ongoing part time roleconsisting of 15 hours a week, with the days to be confirmed at interview. The purpose of this job role is to contribute to the development of the strong, effective school with an emphasis on their mission of promoting a culture of educational excellence withina caring and secure environment.
The school are looking for someone with experience of Finance and using a finance system to create purchase orders and input invoices.
The salary paid is £19,312 to £19,698 per annum Full time Equivalent.
**Main Duties**:
- **Financial Administration-** Providing financial information using computer spreadsheets, chasing outstanding invoices for end of year accounts, counting cash, managing financial transactions/purchases, distributing resources and orders tothe right classes and following up debts.
- **School Administration-**Maintaining stocks and supplies of resources, arranging payments for trips and other school events, managing specific orders of food and drinks, adhoc duties, responding to queries from pupils, staff and parents,and maintaining manual records using their systems.
- **Health & Safety and Safeguarding-**Ensure all visitors are DBS checked and issued with the appropriate lanyard, providing first aid where required, and reporting any concerns in accordance to school procedures.
- **Other-**Attend meetings and training as required, work within the Trusts policies and procedures and contribute to the provision of an effective work environment.
- **Records Management**
**You will**:
- Have a Pediatric and first aid at work certificate or be willing to undergo the training to obtain the certificate.
- A levels or equivalent qualification in Finance or Business Administration.
- 5 A*-C's at GCSE including English and Math's.
- Experience of working in a finance setting and of using a financial system.
- The ability to use MS Office software such as Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Be reliable and punctual
- A strong commitment to the values of Respect, Ambition, Team work and Service.
