Role purpose

To represent the Company as the first point of contact for visitors and to provide an effective and efficient call-handling operation in our Whitstable office.

Key accountabilities

To meet and greet visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
To ensure all visitors entering the building comply with signing in and security procedures, as appropriate.
To provide an effective and efficient call handling operation, answering and screening telephone calls in a professional manner, using own initiative to resolve any queries arising.
To receive post and notify deliveries.
To prepare outgoing post, parcels and couriers.
To collate whereabouts.
To facilitate the booking of meeting rooms and refreshments required.
To ensure the reception area is clean and tidy and maintained at all times.
Sorting and distributing post.
Notifying attendance in accordance with procedure.
To provide additional administrative help as and when required.
To manage the communication of all necessary information.
To liaise with third party companies on the provision of courier services, and stationary etc.

Skills & experience

Must be able to communicate articulately, positively and effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook /Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and IT literate
Pleasant and confident telephone manner
Accuracy/attention to detail
Flexible approach
Team player
Well-spoken with a smart and presentable appearance
Confident and mature with a professional manner
Cheerful and helpful disposition even when under pressure
