**Job Title: Senior Medical Copywriter (Medical Communications)**

**Senior Medical Copywriter Role**

This exciting opportunity enables you as a Senior Medical Copywriter to take on the responsibility for the creation of high quality scientific content across a wide range of platforms and to different audiences. You will be required to:

- Write, review and edit documents, in particular launch and training materials for patients and healthcare professionals
- Works with creative conceptual team to offer input and support across written deliverables, including advert body copy and weaving in the science story into the creative campaign
- Ensure: clarity, consistency, appropriate use of English language and grammar, compliance with electronic regulatory submission requirements, and scientific standards
- Carry out literature searches in order to provide further evidence where required
- Collate data inputs developed through consensus-building with project teams, including agency staff, freelance writers and clients
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timelines are updated and deadlines adhered to
- Assist in the production and editing of proposals and slide kits for new business meetings
- Develop awareness of overall project timelines and contribution of document preparation to meeting key deadlines
- Line management responsibilities for the junior team members, ensuring individuals are aware of their roles and responsibilities, plus helping to develop their skills and experience

**Senior Medical Copywriter Essential Experience**
- Science, medical or pharmacy degree in relevant discipline at BSc level or higher
- At least three years’ experience in medical writing
- Experience in preparation of a range of document types
- Proven experience in medical writing in relevant organisation/s
- Excellent spoken and written English
