The Trauma & Orthopaedic department at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospital are looking for a Full Time Senior Patient Pathway Coordinator to join the Orthopaedic administration team.
This will be an exciting and challenging role as you will be responsible for looking after the Consultants and their patients full pathway from referral to treatment, ensuring that targets are met and excellent care is provided to our patients.
Exceptional administration experience and organisational skills are essential; along with an excellent telephone manner, knowledge of clinics/theatre lists and waiting lists.
This post is mainly based at Tunbridge Wells Hospital, but there is a need for some cross site working.
This role would be perfect for an individual who is determined, motivated, highly organised and can bring a positive approach to a busy and demanding role.
You will work as part of the Trauma & Orthopaedics clinical administration unit to coordinate the treatment pathway for outpatient appointments and inpatient waiting lists for orthopaedic patients to ensure that Government waiting time targets are met.
You would benefit from having knowledge of Allscripts, Theatreman, ERS, Medirota or similar systems plus an awareness of National Patient Access targets.
