**Responsibilities**
- Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff in catering events and daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Help with the serving of meals, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while following all safety protocols.
- Participate in inventory management, including receiving and storing food supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.
**Skills**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is highly beneficial.
- Basic cooking skills and meal preparation techniques are advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- A passion for food and catering, with a willingness to learn from experienced culinary professionals.
