Due to continued growth the position of **Pre-construction Lead ARP **has become available to join our **newly established team **based in **Heathrow.** As Heathrow embarks upon its 7th regulatory period "H7", Costain was awarded two lots as Major Project Partner and Asset Renewal Partner for Terminal 2 - The Queen's Terminal. Reporting into the ARP Programmes lead and working as the secondary point of contact as required - Lead Programme Development: working with the client, design and delivery partners and other stakeholders to develop the pipeline of schemes born out of the sponsorship requirements, as per the ECI contract - Advising the client on the most efficient way to move these schemes forward against a growing demand for delivery Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships within our own organisation, the client, and the supply chain. Demonstrating pre- construction expertise to the client and to the team. Support the Procurement team in building a robust supply chain for these schemes to enable timely design and delivery. Support the commercial team in administering the contract. Safety and Quality Assurance: Lead by example for all works taking note of the high safety and quality standards, adhering to all Costain and Heathrow requirements. As a member of the ARP Senior Leadership team, additional responsibilities in relation to the team and it's success. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including planning, commercial, design, and project controls to achieve project objectives. Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement for our client and our team. Be accountable for the management of design and construction interface, defining construction methodologies and identifying constructability issues. Working with the Design Manager ensure that design issues are identified and escalated from the construction team in a timely manner. Ensure that the quality management system is implemented in accordance with the contract requirements and manage these within your section of the works. Undertake constructability reviews of design information as it is released, providing suitable - Champions Sustainability Safety, Health and Environment by putting personal safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do and helping the environment and communities to thrive - Having integrity by always doing the right thing in the right way - Must be customer focussed by striving for excellence through understanding, anticipating and meeting their needs Essential Proven leadership experience Preconstruction expertise Contract Management Effective communication and strong stakeholder management skills Passionate about improving performance in the sector through best practice, process improvements and continuous improvement practices. Proven experience in developing collaborative teams. Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload, balancing competing priorities and deadlines. Previous experience of people management on complex/sensitive programmes and have successfully impacted peers/others to gain buy-in to enable change to happen.
