**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist the lead teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of each student.
- Provide support to children with special educational needs, ensuring they can participate fully in classroom activities.
- Help manage classroom behaviour by implementing strategies that promote positive interactions among students.
- Support the educational development of toddlers through age-appropriate activities and play.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Prepare classroom materials and resources to enhance learning experiences.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all students during lessons and activities.
- Assist with personal care tasks as needed, ensuring the dignity and comfort of each child.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience working with children is desirable, however we will also consider those who have supported adults with SEND.
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies for supporting children with varying needs is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and staff.
- A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their development.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with diverse learners.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £85.00-£110.00 per day

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Work Location: In person
