We have two offices (Birmingham & Leicester.) Our Head office is in The Custard Factory in Digbeth.

We are now looking for an Accounts professional to provide support to our growing contracts desk and existing clients.

**The role**
- Accounts administration tasks
- To run the PAYE and produce quarterly VAT returns
- Post sales and purchase invoices into the accounts software
- Submit timesheets, expenses and bonuses for contractors.
- Export billable hours worked and upload those onto payroll systems
- Liaise with external providers to pay PAYE contractors through the payroll system.
- Manage supplier reconciliations.
- Work with the team to chase any outstanding invoices.
- Raise all contracts and electronic paperwork necessary for a Contract worker to start their new role.
- To conduct Pre-Employment Verification Checks and ensure the correct Insurances are held.
- Deal with client and contractor queries professionally and efficiently.
- Organise equipment for new starters.
- Manage contractors Holiday allowances using the Leave Wizard portal.
- To maintain accurate records.

**Experience**
- Payroll and accounts experience
- Experience using Xero or a similar financial software would be advantageous
- Strong administration skills, ideally with recruitment experience
- Highly organised, with diary/inbox management experience
- Excellent IT skills
- Able to work independently with a high level of discretion and confidentiality
- Able to effectively manage workload
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- A team player able to work on own initiative but comfortable to escalate and ask for direction when required.
- Confident, bubbly & hard working

**The Birmingham Office**

We have a newly refurbished penthouse office based in the Zellig Building of the Custard Factory, where you will find plenty cafés for your lunch and bars for after work Though you will be allowed to work from home 2 days per week if needed.

We also have a smart/casual dress code policy.
