Pertemps are looking for a full time, permanent General Warehouse Operative to join our established clients’ successful team based in the Shropshire countryside.
As part of your role, you will be working closely with the Goods-In, Warehouse and any other area that requires support. This will require regular communication with your team leader to ensure an efficient flow of activities to maximise resources.
This will include replenishing pick shelves and racking as well as Investigating and responding to critical errors to ensure that mistakes are eradicated. Your day-to-day duties will also consist of preparing customers’ orders for despatch, administrative dutiesof warehouse activities via the Winman system. In addition, you will be assisting in booking in incoming purchases and outgoing despatches, stock taking and discrepancy investigation as well as ensuring that the working area is clean and tidy; this includescleaning the warehouse according to the warehouse cleaning regime.
- Good standard of verbal and written English along with numeracy (essential)
- Good work ethic, with high degree of common sense
- Previous experience within a Warehouse environment
- Ability to work individually or within a team
- Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be physically fit (standing all day)
- Bendi FLT licence (desirable)

Hours: 41.5 p/w. Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00 / Friday 08:00 - 16:00 - may be required to cover a different shift pattern from time-to-time.
Location: Atcham, Shrewsbury with the requirement to travel to other sites on occasion.

**Salary**: 22,659.00 per annum.
