Digital Sales Controller
Responsible For:
New and Used digital car sales, digital new and used sales executives.
Main Purpose of the Job:

- To operate and control the new and used digital sales department, achieving the agreed sales and profit targets.
- To monitor and encourage the activities of all new and used digital sales department staff to ensure their contribution to the objectives of the business.
- To perform these duties in such a manner as to maintain a high reputation for the company.
- To work in a small team in managing all of the groups digital leads and sales.
Detailed Responsibilities:

- To develop the new and used digital plans and targets to direct profit level, covering detailed objectives for new and used car volumes, profit retention together with finance and accessory sales.
- To demonstrate a fast response to an enquiry and provide an online digital process from enquiry to delivery.
- To propose, agree and implement all advertising and promotional activities including the establishment of a promotional budget. To advise the Head of Business of all activities in this respect to ensure dealership and group image is maintained.
- To assess and review the performance of the digital sales department staff. To ensure that necessary disciplines are maintained. To recruit staff where necessary in consultation with the Head of Sales.
- To supervise and co-ordinate the activities of the new and used digital sales executives to ensure maximum effective selling time, customer follow-up and prospecting. To administer any systems required to support their activities.
- To ensure, by meetings or reports that they have full knowledge of all sales transactions and that all customer queries and complaints are dealt with in a responsible manner using the company procedure.
- To ensure that the company enquiry management process is implemented and adhered to.
- To ensure the continuation of in-house training and guidance of all new and used digital sales staff and to provide maximum motivation of same. To identify the need for external training where necessary.
- To liaise with the sites with regards to the order processing and customer delivery. To ensure clear instructions are given to administration for each order and that required information and paperwork is available.
- To provide the Head of Sales with all required information to measure progress. To ensure that all systems are adequate and to make modifications where necessary.
- To run and manage the daily operating control facility provided and ensure all information is accurate and accounted for.
- To ensure quality policy is understood by all members of staff in the new and used digital sales department and implemented through defined procedures.
- To ensure the office environment and work stations are maintained to a high standard of presentation and cleanliness.
Health and Safety Responsibilities:

- To ensure all necessary Health and Safety records are accurately maintained and that best practice is communicated and implemented throughout all new and used digital sales staff.
