We are currently recruiting for Selwood Housing who are looking for an experienced Project Manager to deliver a variety of cross-function projects. Reporting to our Head of Portfolio, you will manage both technical and non-technical projects within the programme. You will scrutinise the solutions and their development in order to ensure that the initiatives are delivered to the required quality standards,on-time, on-budget, and that the associated improvements and savings are achieved. The role will entail excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. You will work with a diverse group of stakeholders including external vendors and our own IT and business analyst teams as well as supporting members of the project teams andactively engaging with our business teams. You will take ownership for all elements of Project Governance, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of reporting and the associated data whilst also advocating best practice methodologies. **Responsibilities**: - Lead projects, in line with Selwood Housing’s strategy and, where appropriate, team operational plans - Manage the delivery strategy and governance of projects including budget, risk and issues, change control, stakeholder engagement and communications - Ensure the workstream content of the project and its deliverables are fully scoped, well-defined, understood by all stakeholders and have realistic timescales - Coordinate the project operations, including organisational structures, processes, technical assets and interfaces - Design and manage the project’s roadmap and timeline - Ensure that appropriate organisational resource input is included in the development and delivery of projects, with clear goals, targets and deadlines. - Direct the project team’s activities and focus, ensuring there is adequate time and resource for them to deliver their actions - Continuously challenge and test the solution in development, to ensure it gives the "best fit" to the original scope - Report to the executive and programme manager, providing context, data and other additional information to enable key decisions about the direction of the project - Ensure project deliverables are achieved within budget, on time and to agreed quality criteria and that there is regular monitoring, assessment and reporting on project risks - Work with business teams and change agents to ensure business readiness and effective adoption of project deliverables - Work with managers and their teams to understand end to end working practices affected by the projects they are working on, in order to achieve operational excellence by reducing wastage and optimising processes - Define and baseline project delivery, and on-going KPIs, with project teams for handover to relevant managers - Identify the key questions to be answered and ensure analysis of data in projects is accurate, robust and draws the correct conclusions - Ensure the quality and integrity of data used or transferred into other systems - With the project sponsor and project team, agree a framework and governance approach to data quality and ensure this is adhered - In conjunction with team managers, manage budget and resources in line with the project plan - Manage the staff resources allocated to the project as part of a matrix structure, with appreciation that the majority of staff time is allocated to business as usual **Requirements**: This role would suit a project manager experienced in delivering a range of projects across multiple divisions. Someone who can manage the full project life cycle with the ability to identify and manage cross-team interdependencies. A qualification in projectmanagement would be useful and ideally you will have experience working to various project methodologies (preferably Waterfall and Agile). We are also looking for strong data collection, reporting and coaching ability in order to motivate and assist the widerbusiness in delivering projects on time and to budget. Budget On offer is an annual salary of £58,770 plus excellent benefits including 27 days holiday plus 2 extra days (one for your birthday and one over the Christmas break), an enhanced defined contributions pension and life assurance. The office is located a short walk from Trowbridge train station and there is onsite parking. They offer hybrid working asking for 1 day per week in the office.
