Starting between £39,500 and £46,300, you will receive annual salary reviews in line with your performance.

**About the role**

Play a crucial role in the functional and disability assessments process, a service that touches the lives of millions of people in the UK.

You do not need to have worked as a Functional Assessor previously. We can support you in your career change with our accredited training programme and dedicated support structure.

**Key responsibilities**
- Assessing a variety of complex conditions and impairments.
- Using your strong verbal communication skills and write high quality, fair and accurate assessment reports using a special IT system.
- Working with your line manager to advance your own professional development and career as a Functional Assessor.

**Essential experience and qualifications**
- Minimum of 12 months post-registration experience working as an Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Paramedic, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Pharmacist.
- You must hold full registration with one of the following professional bodies:

- Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC)
