Senior Research Executive

We have an exciting role for a Senior Research Executive who has a talent for working with data and all its complexities.

You must be currently working in the research sector and will have at least 18mths post grad research experience.

We’re looking to recruit a Senior Research Executive to work specifically on ongoing projects in a permanent role.

Working on two specific projects that handle weekly data updates from 100s of external sources, you’ll be working with large data sets, ensuring they are accurate and complete before that data is delivered to the client on a weekly basis. The role supports the overall PM who leads the production of the reports for the project, ensures we’re producing accurate data and provides timely updates for our client.

The data we produce (in SPSS and Excel formats) is used by major UK organisations and the project has a high degree of complexity that is not typical of social market research projects. The data cleaning process involves recontacting business participants to validate their data, and you’ll also work with other (internal) teams to ensure the data is correct, supporting others to find solutions to queries that may arise when classifying the data.

There will also be a requirement to produce quarterly slide decks to include in client reports in line with project requirements.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage projects and tasks through effective planning and prioritisation.
- Supervise and delegate to (T)REs and RAs
- Proactively manage and monitor projects in field.
- Ensure accuracy in questionnaire scripts and data outputs
- Support and oversee validation and classification of collected data
- Produce clear, accurate and insightful analysis and reporting
- Work in partnership with other departments

**About you**

This is a role for someone who loves data, you’ll be dealing with large data sets which must be checked and delivered to the client on time at regular intervals, you must therefore have an acute eye for detail. You’ll be working with SPSS and excel so will have a good level of competence with both systems.

You’ll need to be able to think creatively in order to solve queries whilst also using the structures in place to provide solutions that work for the project.

As you’ll be working with other teams you’ll be a good communicator, be adaptable and react to change in a positive way in order to get the best out of everyone.

You’ll be familiar and confident with all aspects of the research process and will have produced quality analysis and reporting that is clear with good insight.
