Panoramic Associates are recruiting for a Public Health Data Management Assistant to join our South-West local authority client's Public Health Intelligence team on a permanent basis

**The client**:
Our client is an award-winning local authority who is on a mission to modernise their data systems and data science approach and further innovate in public health. The Public Health Intelligence Team works in a client-centred way supporting key stakeholdergroups with insight and analytics.

**The role**:
You will join the Public Health Intelligence function to manage and develop the Public Health team's data warehouse (SQL) as well as supporting the team on a range of projects and programmes in Public Health.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is wanting to make a difference and be part of a creative, innovative and progressive Local Authority on a full time basis. This post will offer progression into various routes such as Public Health Intelligence,Data Analysis and/or Data Science positions if desired by the individual.

Essential experience/attributes includes:

- Experience of using SQL server (or similar data warehouse)
- Experience of working within a public health intelligence function
- Working in a local authority/local authority setting

Desirable experience includes:

- Ability to build appropriate data processing techniques and solutions, including use of technical software
- Technical and database skills - Knowledge and experience of using a range of IT systems, including databases
- Be able to interpret data and make decisions
- Be intuitive and take ownership of issues and follow to resolution
- Data handling, data linking and/or data architecture
- Performance management/performance indicators
