UK & Ireland Marketing Activator - Walton Oaks

Position Location**:Walton Oaks**

**Main Purpose of the Role**

Drives growth through customer acquisition, penetration and retention by activating (adapting, adopting & expanding) Global and EMEA initiatives and by leading Cluster initiatives to engage customers and distributors with our products and brands. Enables growth in channels and EU customers by providing customer-specific brand and product content digitally and for in person meetings and events.

- Individual contributor applies knowledge and expertise from entry to experienced level
- Works under limited supervision, based on strategic direction and requires limited direction to complete assignments.

**Role Accountabilities**

**Channel Marketing**
- Responsible for creating compelling KCP Brand and Portfolio presence in Distributor catalogues and at distributor events - negotiating visibility, creating & supplying assets and managing workflow.
- Creates digital and physical marketing assets and sales tools for distributors to leverage in their own marketing and sales to elevate KCP brands and product solutions to reach more end users.
- Works with traditional channel partners (not strategic ecommerce partners) to design & execute ideal Digital Shelf for all KCP categories, leveraging the data and content in the PIM

**End User Customer and Brand Marketing**
- Owns Cluster activation of brand initiatives, including always-on media such as Social Media page and PR (planning and executing content, measuring and optimising) and coordinates events.
- Partners with Central and Cluster marketing colleagues to support the commercialization of innovation, renovation, BFS/LCM and product changes for the cluster. Adopts assets/content provided and making any required localisations.
- Lead Sustainability activation across Cluster, engaging with key customers to leverage our credentials and portfolio solutions to grow and supporting mid-term solution planning in conjunction with Central team.
- Builds capability of sales and marketing organization in key jobs to be done & insights associated with Sustainability to improve sales closure rates
- Create segment-specific and/or product-specific end user customer content/assets where required to win new business. Working with sales, develop strategies and execute plans to win business in specific sell-to segments or customers.
- Executes product assortment strategy for key channel partners and key end user accounts, in partnership with sales account managers.

**Standard Work**
- Maintains cluster marketing calendar and uses to guide own planning and execution.
- Creates, adapts and adopts digital and physical marketing and sales tools, and customer, channel and industry events leveraging Central Campaigns and Brand Foundational tools
- Leverages marketing content available in the Digital Asset Management System where possible; where unique content is created, ensure it is uploaded & maintained in the DAM System
- Tracks the performance & measures ROI of marketing programs
- Actively connects with customers and channel partners to capture insights and check and adjust marketing programs
- Actively engages with external industry in order to keep abreast of industry and competitor activity, particularly owning external customer and industry insight on sustainability.
- Manages assigned marketing budget within CFIs

**Education & Experience**

**Essential**:

- Bachelor Degree, in business-related discipline
- 4-7 years of experience in marketing / sales roles with a demonstrated track record of achievement and growth in leadership behavior
- P&L management
- Resolving complex problems and translating to business opportunities

**Preferred**:

- Experience in a B2B environment
- Experience in managing e-commerce customers

**Commercial / Functional Skills**
- Strong business & organizational acumen - understanding of market dynamics, P&L management & commercial mindset etc.
- Strong analytics skills
- Able to make tough, informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track
- Able to navigate and perform in ambiguous circumstances
