**Wembley (hybrid)**

**£55,940 plus 27 days holiday**

Are you passionate about building safety but want to step away from a hands-on role? Do you secretly get a kick out of admin? Maybe you live for legislation?

You'll head up a newly formed team looking to get all the documentation around building safety organised for a housing association. There will have a lot of scope to shape the way relevant information is created, collated, managed and distributed - bothinternally and to regulatory bodies.

Cards on the table there's going to be a lot of organising and setting systems up in your first couple of months but they're going to be YOUR systems and YOUR way of working so you should find that really satisfying.

As Building Safety Document Manager you'll still be able to use your practical knowledge of residential property safety and structural issues on a daily basis, just from a desk as opposed to being out on site in all weathers.

You'll be supported by 2 Technical Administrators who are familiar with the systems currently in place and how the housing association works plus your colleagues in the operations team (Fire Safety Manager, Gas Manager, Water Safety Manager etc.) so thereare lots of people happy to help.

After all you're doing them a favour by (hopefully) making their admin simpler

To be able to hitting the ground running you'll need to know your way around residential property safety regulations, legislations and compliance.

If you have experience around document control or working on EDMS systems that would be a bonus.

All your colleagues work within a hybrid working model, 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH/WFA so you would need to be within commuting distance of Wembley.

This is a brand new role within the organisation so there's lots of scope to come in and shape your ideal job, a lot of the time the leadership team will look to you for guidance about how your role is going to look. There'll be opportunities to collaboratewith your colleagues across the G15 to implement operating models, systems and best practice.
