This Assessment & Therapy team are looking for two Assistant Psychologists to join their nationwide team supporting children and young people across their fostering service.
The organisation is a leading Social Enterprise dedicated to turning children’s lives around. Supported by their founder they have developed a national network of integrated care services (fostering, residential care, and education) to meet the needs oflooked after children.
The Assistant Psychologist role will be covering:
London, Midlands and North
The organisation is continuing to develop services, which will deliver the highest positive impact to children and young people to recover from the impact of trauma, abuse, and neglect.
They have developed a model called Attachment & Trauma Informed Care (ATIC) which is embedded across their residential and education environments.
Due to expansion and demand for their Assessment & Therapy Service they are looking for Assistant Psychologists or Psychotherapeutic Practitioners to join their Assessment & Therapy Team.
Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Psychologist:
- Completion of baseline assessment as identified per region (Number of as agreed)
- Participate in the development of and the successful delivery of research projects
- Ensuring accurate recording and compliance of record keeping
- To deliver supports as directed by Senior Principal psychologist as per the SLA
The Assistant Psychologist will join a growing multidisciplinary team delivering Attachment and Trauma Informed Care (ATIC) across the whole of the organisation.
They are looking for someone who has the following:
- A qualification that demonstrates knowledge of psychological knowledge e.g., BSc or MSc
- A willingness and commitment to develop and grow in the field of applied psychology
- You will have an experience in working with children and young people
- Ideally you will be currently on program of study that provides 'trainee’ status such as training as child psychotherapist or counsellor or a willingness to commence study to eventually become a registered professional in this area
