**Primary Duties of this Position**:
The role is factory-based and will involve you carrying out all basic preparation of seafood. You will be trained in basic filleting and trimming of our extensive range of produce. You will also be trained to operate a fish de-skinning machine, portioning, boning and descaling. Should you want to further your skills/education there's the option to be trained by our experienced filleters to become a fully skilled filleter.

**Main Duties of this Position**:

- Learn how to prepare all fish to specific cuts and maintain quality of all work.
- Learn how to use the de-skinning machine
- Learn portioning, descaling and pin boning.
- Learn knife skills and how to maintain and sharpen them.
- Ensure that all fish handled is with respect as it is a delicate product and presented in customer orders with high care and attention.
- Work as part of a team.
- Work beyond your own department as and when required.

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar position is advantageous, but not necessary.
- A practical approach to work is essential and good sleight of hand

**Hours**:

- We have one position available in a day team role (9am-6pm)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

- Paignton, TQ4 7HP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
