This opportunity is to support our client who will be based in the Blackpool area. We are looking for high quality, dynamic and experienced Mental Health Support Workers who are available immediately to work with our client on a live in basis.

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in providing support and guidance our client who struggles with substance misuse. Your commitment to fostering positive change will be the cornerstone of your daily activities, as you work collaboratively with our client to develop tailored plans to help with his recovery.

We are seeing an empathetic individual with a proven track record in the substance misuse sector. A sound understanding of the challenges faced by those affected by drug and alcohol issues is essential. Your ability to engage effectively with service users, coupled with your strong communication skills, will be key to your success in this role.

**Required Skills and Experience**
- Experience of supporting from a recovery focussed approach
- Experience working within drug and alcohol services or a similar support role.
- Robust experience in safeguarding and managing risk
- A non-judgmental approach, respecting the diversity and individual needs of the client
