**Salary: £80-85K + £12K pension + 20% bonus + healthcare + life assurance + 25 days holiday**

**The Client**

The role will require hybrid working - 2/3 days per week onsite

**The Role as Head of Business Analysis**

The client is seeking a Head of BA to assume control of a number of inflight and new projects and line management responsibility of Business Analysts spread across multiple tech stack projects (CRM, Info Sec, HR, Finance/ERP, Business Apps etc).

Duties include;
- Direct line management responsibility for the team of business analysts.
- Defining the processes and templates that all business analysts should follow.
- Working with the Head of Technology Projects to define and prioritise the project and BAU roadmaps and agree resource requirements across the activities.
- Initiate and influence relationship with stakeholders across the business. Act as a single point of contact for business analysis. Negotiate at a senior level on technical, operational and commercial issues to understand and agree what will meet their needs.
- Facilitate workshops with key business stakeholders
- Provide input and insight into best practice
- Perform a gap analysis against existing systems, BRD, Process Mapping, Traceability Matrix
- Requirements gathering and specification skills - including standard approaches for assimilation and presentation
- Conduct requirements elicitation and prioritisation with business stakeholders and the delivery team including functional, non-functional & technical requirements and Testing (UAT scripts and manage UAT activities) where necessary
- Strong analytical skills, ability to understand problem domain and express complexity in clear terms to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- The ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional design either using UML (UseCases, Activity/State Diagrams, Process Mapping, Work Shops)

The client is seeking somebody who is dynamic, engaging, has strong stakeholder management skills, is self-motivated and can work independently. In addition to excellent communication skills (written/verbal), you must also be able to demonstrate the following:

- 10+ years as Business Analyst
- 5+ years as Lead Business Analyst or Head of Business Analysis
- Agile experience
- Proven experience in gathering business and functional requirements through a variety of methods, interacting directly with end users and senior business stakeholders alike.
- Experience in writing UAT scripts and manage UAT activities
- Facilitate workshops with key business stakeholders
- The ability to translate business requirements into detailed functional design either using UML (UseCases, Activity/State Diagrams, Process Mapping, Work Shops)
- Gap analysis against existing systems, BRD, Process Mapping, Traceability Matrix
- End to end experience of the systems project life cycle, with proven experience of delivering projects using different methodologies
- Demonstrable evidence of documenting and analysing complex business processes.
- Demonstrable experience writing requirements specifications for Information Systems
- A flexible approach, with the ability to quickly adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as customer service skills.
