Maintenance Engineer Electrical Bias

Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias), based on a Day Shift, situated in Leicestershire, this is a permanent vacancy for a qualified and experienced electrical maintenance engineer, able to work Monday to Friday, offering a competitive annual salary circa£40k, plus attractive employee benefits scheme, plenty of career and personal development.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will have at least 3 years previous, relevant work experience with proven skills in fault finding on 3 phase control circuits, excellent working knowledge of PLC's (Siemens or Allen Bradley), supported by strong working knowledgewithin a FMCG environment. Ideally educated to NVQ 3/ONC/HNC Electrical/Mechanical Engineering standard, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, advanced working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook for reporting and internal communicationwith the wider management and maintenance team
As Maintenance Engineer there is a need to respond, repair, replace and/or maintain a range of machinery and tooling equipment, best suited to an engineer who can undertake some project-based work, report any machine failures and manage the effective communicationprocess between all parties during any breakdown/downtime.
This role does require you to conduct an element of training, ensuring that machine operators can perform all required functions and tasks, the ability to identify parts for refurbishment, obtain new parts via the supply chain and uphold all Health and Safetyrequirements in line with plant equipment and staff operation.
