Skills Coach - Teaching Assistant - Hybrid Working
Pertemps Work Based Learning is currently working with a great training provider based within the Liverpool area rated by Ofsted as ‘Good’. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with experience working within Apprenticeship delivery and Education.
We are looking for an Apprenticeship Trainer/Skills Coach on a remote, with some travel required for learner observations withing the greater Merseyside area. The Skills Coach will be delivering Levels 3 to individuals achieving their apprenticeship qualifications in L3 Teaching Assistant.
- Salary of up to £29,000 depending on experience and skills.
- Remote Working, with some travel required for learner observation.
- 25 Days + Bank Holidays
- Health and Well being package.

Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant skills coach
- Deliver engaging learning programmes in order to support learners towards their Qualification in the Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.
- Use a wide range of resources and techniques, tailored to learners’ individual needs.
- Observe and review work produced by learners to ensure it is of the appropriate standard to reflect the learner's qualification and meet the needs of the qualification.
- Provide insightful, constructive, and informative feedback to help the learner maximise their potential.
- Proactively monitor, evaluate, and improve the quality and effectiveness of own workload and working practices to ensure deadlines and targets are met and that the learner has an outstanding experience.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Visit and observe learners in their place of work to support and gather evidence.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications for the Teaching Assistant Skills Coach
- Vocational experience, ideally within Teaching, Learning, and Development, in Further or Higher education settings.
- Experience and knowledge of delivering training and coaching sessions to apprenticeship learners is desired.
- Full UK Driving Licence, with access to own vehicle and a flexibility to travel.
