Care Practitioner

Hilldales Residential Care Home is a small friendly care home in Ilfracombe, North Devon. It is care home unlike any other. We provide care and support for adults with a range of needs. Many of residents have led demanding, hard lives and often have a history of mental health issues and drug & alcohol problems. They need and deserve sympathetic support in their daily lives.

We are currently looking for a full time Care Practitioner, working alternate three and four, 12 hour shifts. You will be responsible for the following:

- Care planning around needs of individuals
- Risk assessments for individuals
- Administration of medications
- Organisation and oversight of care teams
- Advocating on behalf of residents
- Supervision of staff

Skills and Qualifications:
Health & Social care NVQ level 3 preferred, working towards or willing to undertake.

Medication trained.
