**Finance Assistant - Treasury & Credit Control**

**Norwich**

**37 hours per week**

**Up to £22,000 depending on experience**

Norse Group are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our central support service department based at our head office on Fifers Lane.

The role is being offered on an 18-month FTC, due to secondment of internal employees commencing work on an exciting project.

Whether you are stepping onto the career ladder, looking for a change in career or an experienced finance professional this role will give you the opportunity to learn the ropes or develop your knowledge within an industry leading company providing you with the tools needed to progress.

**The role**:
Working within the Accounts Payable team, main responsibilities will include:

- Liaising with suppliers to effectively resolve issues/queries
- Managing the central finance inboxes efficiently
- Providing support and guidance to the business on core finance systems, including Compleat & Dynamics GP, often acting as the first point of contact
- Maintaining reconciliation of supplier statements, matching of Direct Debit accounts and matching/requesting of refunds regularly to meet deadlines
- Processing business expenses, including credit cards and adhoc payments when required

**Ideal Skills & Experience include**:
You will have a strong desire to develop your career in a fast-paced, finance environment alongside:

- Holding Grade C or above (New System 5 or above) GCSEs in Maths & English
- Previous experience working within an office, administrative or similar role
- Experience using Microsoft Office Software in a working environment, including Outlook & Excel
- Fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritise work effectively ensuring strict deadlines are met
