Befriending ServiceAdministrator Band 4 (Bank)

This role only available topeoplewho have accessedELFTclinical services within the last 12 months or is a Carer of a Service Users who has.

If successful at interview you will be employed by the Trust and contacted when a shift or role needs to be covered. This can be for a shift/session, a day, a week or perhaps more. Sometimes shifts can arise at short notice. You will be paid by the Trust on a weekly basis.

The majority of our Bank staff go on to secure permanent posts with the Trust. We are continuously recruiting for skilled and competent Bank Administration Staff.

Kindly note that this is an office based role, working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm and you will be required to work respective office base.
- To support the organization of the Befriending Service
- To complete data entry on different platforms
- To create and maintain documentation
- To work alongside service users and carers
- Assist the service lead with recruitment and training of befrienders
- Process referrals, including making outgoing calls to service users/
- Ensure confidentiality and professionalism is maintained at all times
- Participate in team meetings, ensuring good communication is established and maintained
- Attend Monthly 121 meetings to overcome any issues and highlight development opportunities.
- Host 121 meeting with Befrienders
- Adopt and implement agreed service developments in line with service objectives

- Must have lived experience of a mental health condition and accessed ELFT services within the last 12 months or is a Carer of a Service Users who has.
- Feel confident about interacting with people who are potentially distressed
- Must complete Safeguarding Level 2 Adults online Training
- Must be 18+
- Trustworthy and professional, with the ability to maintain boundaries
- A patient and non-judgmental attitude
- Friendly & kind approach
- Good communication skills
- Able to use Zoom and Microsoft Office software to a high standard
- Able to communicate sensitive or complex information with sensitivity and diplomacy
