**About This Role** **Maintenance Instructor** CAE, the worldwide leader in aviation training is seeking a UK or EU Based Contract Maintenance Training Instructor to join our Business Aviation Maintenance Training Team. This position can be located anywhere in the UK or various countries across Europe and does require global travel. If you are a Mechanic, Avionics Technician with experience servicing either Bombardier, Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon and are ready to take your career to a new level by becoming an instructor, this role could be for you We are also interested in talking to individuals with experience working on commercial or business jets as an instructor. **The Maintenance Training Instructor works as part of a team dedicated to the following**: - Provide aircraft maintenance training on products manufactured by the worlds largest OEM's. Use extensive aviation maintenance experience, technical training experience, and varied computer skills (text & graphics), to develop, deliver, and maintain multi-media and computer-assisted courseware packages. - This position is customer-facing and is focused on identifying and supporting customers’ needs and requests. - Provides training to the customers at varied locations and manages and resolves a broad range of issues in an autonomous manner. - Delivers aircraft system training in areas of expertise using a variety of instructional training aids in the classroom environment including the use of multimedia presentations (videos, slides, Power Point), aircraft components and aircraft simulators. **Essential Requirements** - Proven experience working on Bombardier, Gulfstream, Dassault Falcon or instructor experience working on commercial aircraft or business jets - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in aerospace or related industry - Working knowledge of mechanical or avionic aircraft systems related to the area of responsibility. - Ability to resolve customer instructional issues autonomously. - Working knowledge in a variety of basic computer software programmes. **CAE offers**: - Competitive salary - Monday - Friday shift pattern (weekend work if required) - Private health insurance - Healthcare cash plan - Employee stock purchase plan - Pension scheme - Flexible vacation policy - Flexitime scheme - Electric Car & Cycle to Work schemes - Life Assurance **About us** At CAE, we equip people in critical roles with the expertise and solutions to create a safer world.
