**Control, Customer and Change Lead - Business Banking Financial Assistance**

As a Barclays Control, Customer and Change Lead in Business Banking Financial Assistance the primary aim of the role is to be improving the capability and performance of Business Banking Financial Assistance, this is through managing our; controls (c.70% of role) and customer and change (c. 30% of the role) priorities. In this role, risk and control and will play a pivotal role in supporting capability uplift and standards adherence across all teams, in line with the requirements under the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Performing management and development of all direct reports, and wider teams
- Handling a highly motivated team, maintaining excellent relationships within own team and with wider business partners
- Developing, delivering, and embedding the key strategic direction and plans for BFA
- Reviewing progress regularly and maximize results through focused development opportunities
- Delivering of key projects aligned to the business’s automation and efficiency agenda
- Analyzing management information to enhance the team’s performance particularly with regards to KPIs and SLAs
- Creating and collaborating embedment of a continuous improvement culture within the operation thereby enhancing the E2E customer journey and improve efficiency
- Providing of a control-focused business operation, in line with business and regulatory requirements

**What we’re looking for**:

- Experience of working in a similar operational lead role
- Proven recent experience in managing and handling others
- Broad and working knowledge of risks prevalent in an operations area
- A working understanding and experience of the Banks Control frameworks and policies

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Previous experience of delivering operational and procedural enhancements
- Experience of working in a leadership role within financial assistance / vulnerability
- Significant experience and understanding of driving an automation and efficiency agenda
