Based in the **Isle of Wight**, their **Scheduler **will join them on a **full-time, permanent basis,** and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of**£27,000 - £28,000 + £1500 signing on bonus per annum and excellent benefits.**

**Key responsibilities as theirScheduler will include**:

- Ensuring that all works are efficiently and effectively resourced and managed from the point of receiving the order to the successful completion
- Planning for future jobs and appointments whilst anticipating their capability to meet the demands through resourcing of operatives and sub-contractors
- Contacting tenants and building users to book in works to ensure that they consistently meet contracted response times
- Allocating the right operatives, based on their skills, availability and locality to the jobs that are nearing completion to ensure they meet appointment/response times and minimize travel and unproductive time
- Constantly monitoring the appointment screens and statuses to identify potential issues before they happen, ensuring the correct decisions are made to rectify and own the issue through to resolution
- Proactively managing operative annual leave and training requirements to ensure a consistent delivery of the service by having enough resource available
- Supervising a small team of administrators to undertake scheduling and costing works

**What they are looking for in their Scheduler**:

- GCSE or equivalent grade C or above in English
- Relevant qualification in Business Administration or Customer Services (Advantageous)
- Ideally have a full driving licence
- Experience working in an Operations Centre of a Building Maintenance Contract
- Experience of supervising a team
- Basic knowledge of building maintenance trades and the tasks/activities that can be undertaking by each trade group.
- Good geographical understanding of the Isle of Wight area, including the best routes and travel time between different locations
