We have a fantastic opportunity for a **Commercial** **Account Handler **to join our Commercial team located in our Bristol office.

This is the perfect role for someone with a background in Commercial insurance, for an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking to develop their skills further within a Global Market Leader.

- You will work in a lively environment within a large team of Account Handlers and (working with Account Executives) manage your own allocated book of clients
- You will be expected to handle all classes and products(principally Property, Business Interruption, Liability and Motor Fleet) within a diverse commercial client base

**We will rely on you to**:

- Work with Account Executives to retain and generate new business, by leveraging strategy information and midterm changes.
- Strive to meet sales goals by partnering with Account Executives
- Work on all aspects of account management and service delivery to clients, ensuring client needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards.
- Manage all day to day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustments
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, client teams and producers to provide best in class service and drive growth.
- Manage your personal development, ensuring that mandatory training is completed alongside additional training to support personal growth
- Serve as a client contact for day-to-day needs and answer standard or more difficult client questions to improve the client experience.
- Operate in accordance with the Company’s compliance, quality and governance measures, achieving at least the required standards at all times

**What you need to have**:

- Commercial Insurance is essential however experience from Underwriting or Claims backgrounds can be considered
- Ideally open to change and challenges as we are very adaptable to market and client changes
- Resilient, good interpersonal skills, versatile and capable
- Ideally experience with the Acturis operating platform

**What makes you stand out**:

- Cert CII qualification preferable but not mandatory
