This role will involve supporting the IT Site Lead by assisting in resolving any IT issues and helping to ensure the smooth running of the IT function across the business. You will be joining our Eastbourne site which has over 100 employees utilising a broad range of hardware and software. **Day to Day Responsibilities of the Junior IT Support Technician**: - Support the business by assisting end users with any hardware, software or networking issues - Assist with the daily tasks, log incidents in the IT service desk and work with IT Site Lead and off shore teams to resolve all reported IT incidents - Follow standard operating procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate IT teams - Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and follow to a resolution - Re-image PCs and laptops and setup for deployment - Assist with office move around of staff and setup PCs and telephones - Research diagnose, troubleshoot in order to identify solutions to resolve system issues **Knowledge and Experience required**: - Knowledge of Network Domain and Microsoft Active Directory - A good understanding of Printing Services and audio-visual equipment - Adept in PCs, Windows 10 and Office 365 deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting - Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business or similar Video conferencing suite - Troubleshooting desktop software/hardware issues - Understanding of wired and wireless LAN networks - Good, demonstrable diagnostic experience - Cyber Security, centralised Antivirus, Backup, Windows Server, Cisco/Meraki and networking protocols would be considered a bonus **Personal Skills and Qualities**: - A genuine interest in technology and the latest hardware - Team working and good communication skills - Have a good eye for detail - A desire to resolve issues as quickly as possible - Problem solving and trouble shooting - Willingness to learn If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be successful in this role click on "APPLY" today, forwarding an up to date copy of your CV for consideration in the first instance.
