**Overview**:
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to support us in the on-going development of CareTech’s digital resources to build a strong online presence for the Group and its subsidiaries.

This is a varied role that encourages a proactive approach. The right person for this role will be a motivated forward thinker who can critically develop new and existing resources and be highly analytical of all activity, with an eye for detail.

The Apprentice will be supported by the Group Head of Digital Marketing and Marketing & Communications Director to build experience in creating and running digital marketing and social media campaigns and build a solid understanding of the principles ofSEO and PPC advertising.

**Salary:**

£18,525 per annum.

**The role:**

Key responsibility will be to assist the Group Head of Digital Marketing in the development and execution of the company’s digital marketing strategy and plan focussing on website development, social media and creation of digital assets.

The Digital Marketing Apprentice will work as part of our Marketing & Communications Team, and will be responsible for generating and researching ideas, visuals and content for powerful, meaningful social media and digital campaigns.

**Projects will include: **
- Updating content and resources on CareTech’s or one of its subsidiaries’ website
- Developing and running digital campaigns to increase CareTech’s & subsidiaries visibility & drive engagement across key social channels
- Supporting the development of website landing pages for PPC Advertising and recruitment campaigns
- Monitoring & managing 3rd party users to improve website usage and functionality
- Monitoring, evaluating and reporting on channel performance and make recommendations for improvement
- Co-ordinating web requirements across all departments
- Liaising with staff to develop and maintaining a content calendar for all online properties
- Writing, proofreading and obtaining relevant approvals for all digital content
- Maintaining brand consistency throughout all online properties

**What we are looking for**:
**Person specification and skills**:

- Interest in PPC & social media adverts & Google Analytics
- Interest & some experience of using different social media channels for personal or professional use
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A strong team player but with the ability to work independently
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work on various projects simultaneously
- A year experience in IT / using different IT systems [ideal]
- Good attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and some knowledge of CRM Systems
- Dynamic, confident personality with emotional intelligence, enthusiasm and energy

**Entry requirements:**

The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:

- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

**Working week:**

Hybrid working, (1-2 day in the Head Office)

9am - 5:30pm,

Monday to Friday.
