Based across the Northwest, our client is an award-winning, large independent practice that is seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to become part of their Accounts Advisory team in North Manchester. Working as part of a large team, this firm canoffer an exciting and varied role to an enthusiastic and ambitious accountancy professional.

**THE JOB**:
Working as part of the Accounting and Advisory team as Accounts & Advisory Semi Senior you will be expected to provide an excellent service to clients in accordance with the firm’s values, procedures, prevailing legislation, and good professional practiceto meet or exceed clients’ expectations and requirements.

**The main responsibilities as Accounts & Advisory Semi Senior will include**:

- The preparation of year end accounts both in-house and on site.
- The preparation of periodic management accounts both in-house and on site.
- The preparation of corporate tax returns including analysis of tax sensitive nominals.
- Becoming a trusted adviser to the firm’s clients, ensuring that you form excellent on-going client relationships.
- Providing an excellent level of service delivery and seeking opportunities to add value wherever possible.
- Supervising junior team members and offering your experience and guidance to help others to develop.

**THE PERSON**

The successful Accounts & Advisory Semi Senior will be part qualified and actively studying AAT, ACA or ACCA and must have previously worked in a professional practice for several years. You will need experience of bookkeeping and the preparation of yearend reconciliations for the balance sheet including VAT and PAYE. You will need to be familiar with all the MS Office package and have experience of using one if not all of the following accountancy packages, Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks. Excellent communicationskills and organisation skills are essential along with the desire to achieve your professional qualification.
