H Mart Group was originally founded in 1982 in Woodside, Queen. After a successful expansion over decades. H Mart is the largest Asian American supermarket chain, operating over 90 stores in North America as well as New Malden store in London.

**Essential requirements**:

- Experience liaising with customers and dealing with cash.
- Knowledge of Oriental food and culture preferable but not essential.
- Previous checkout experience would be ideal but not essential as training will be provided.
- Problem solver skills.
- Good communications and time management skills.
- Numeracy skills.
- English speaking, Korean and/or Chinese and/or Japanese preferable but not essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Scanning groceries and ensure proper price scanning.
- Greeting and liaising with customers in a friendly and professional manner and help them during check out in timely fashion.
- Counting money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts were correct and change is adequate.
- Dealing with returns and claims and solve customers’ problems.
- Replenishing shelves.
- Helping with cleaning.

The store is open 7 days a week from 9:00am to 9:00pm so working on a rota basis and on weekend is required.
