Based near Oxford, our client is internationally recognised as a world leader of commercial products and detection systems.

As the Senior Electronics Engineer you will be part of the Group Director of operations team. This team is responsible for; R&D, Engineering and operations across the business.

This is a key position within the company as our client are in the very early stages of adapting technologies to disrupt the current marketplace in object detection systems which means you will be able to fully utilise your experience in Analogue and digitalcircuit design and Embedded firmware development.

**Day-to-day you will be**:

- Involved in the R&D for both existing and new product design, development and implementation.
- Involved in product implementation from concept to volume production (In-house and out-sourced)
- Product testing at EMC test houses
- PCB layout (up to 4 layers), including design to meet EMC requirements
- Schematic design.
- Working to international standards (EMC, UL, ASME, etc.)
- Quality and design management processes
- BOM generation and maintenance
- Safety and reliability analysis, including FMEA
- Circuit tolerancing and stress analysis
