Marina Developments Ltd is the UK’s leading Marina operator. Hamble Point Marina is situated at the top of the River Hamble.

To help us deliver exceptional service we are seeking to recruit a Marina Operative to join our lifting team at MDL.

You will be passionate about providing the best possible levels of customer service and will put the customer’s needs first every time. You will deliver an outstanding customer experience; exceeding expectations on a daily basis. This is a full time position working a Monday to Friday shift pattern 7.30am to 4pm.

You will be flexible towards work and will be expected to cover both dry stack and boat yard.

**The prime tasks and responsibilities for this role are**:

- To be responsible for lifting, blocking, pressure washing, towing, mast step and unstep and relaunching of boats.
- To carry out Dry Stack operations in a safe manner at all times.
- Carry out boat lifting operations in accordance with the Company Health & Safety Policy.
- Complete all daily, weekly and monthly assigned tasks as required.
- To maintain a clean, tidy site at all times.
- To carry out general maintenance around the site.
- To ensure the highest levels of customer service and experience at all times.
- Deliver operational process and systems in accordance with the quality management systems of the MDL Way.
- Provide cover and assistance to the Boat Yard operations as and when required.

- Flexible and self motivated.

- Self motivated and able to work without supervision.
- Have a customer focused philosophy permeating all your actions.
- Well presented and take a pride in your surroundings.

**Required Experience**:

- Ability to swim.

**Desired Experience**:

- Marina/boatyard operational experience.
