**Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative**

Caterglobe Ltd, a leading provider of commercial kitchen and bakery solutions, is seeking a highly organized and proactive **Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative** to join our team at our headquarters in North London.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing warehouse operations, ensuring the timely delivery of equipment, and assisting engineers with installations. The position requires handling **heavy and valuable equipment**, involving careful loading, unloading, and precise positioning. You will also be tasked with **a significant amount of driving**, delivering equipment to various locations within and outside of London, with a **dynamic schedule** that changes daily based on client needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Unload deliveries and verify quantities, reporting discrepancies to the office.
- **Prepare large catering equipment for installations**, ensuring proper unpacking, handling, and loading to avoid damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Optimize warehouse space and efficiently manage waste disposal.
- Organize parts and materials, and report stock levels.
- Handle deliveries and collections across London and surrounding areas.
- **Manage stock at our second warehouse in Ashford, Kent**, where you will also collect or prepare equipment for installations.
- Assist engineers with installations and other tasks as needed.
- Carry out minor warehouse repairs.
- Log jobs using a specialized platform.
- Follow delivery schedules, ensuring safe and secure loading to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate lifting equipment, such as hand trucks, electric dollies, and forklifts.
