Gardener / Groundsperson required

An exciting new opportunity has become available for an experienced gardener to take on the responsibility of maintaining approximately 5 acres of formal gardens set within a larger 60-acre estate in a beautiful rural location in East Yorkshire. The formal gardens consist of lawns, perennial borders, hedging and formally clipped topiary. In addition to the gardens around the house there is also a cutting garden and vegetable garden which supplies the house with regular produce.

In addition to maintaining the formal gardens the postholder will carry out groundsperson duties, mowing, fencing / fence repairs and maintenance of the wider 60 acres of grounds. Beyond the garden is an attractive parkland which is divided into paddocks to accommodate horses. The horses are cared for by two full time grooms however the Groundsperson may be required to provide them with assistance from time to time.

**SALARY**:Circa £30,000 depending on experience
