Here at Stonewater, we are looking for a pro-active and practical Lettings Officer to join our Lettings and Empty Homes teams.

This role is all about customer service and delivering an excellent experience for both our outgoing and incoming customers. It’s not a call centre or sales role - you’ll be delivering a positive experience to our customers and maximising Stonewater’s income through efficient management of our exit process and voids works on our homes.

You’ll provide a professional, specialist support service to new rental customers from first point of enquiry through to completion of their move, ensuring accuracy and regular communication with them as well as external stakeholders, so that lettings completions are carried out to agreed targets. You’ll undertake affordability assessments on potential customers as required to ensure they meet the criteria set by Stonewater to minimise financial risk for the collection of rent and service charge, and make decisions to ensure that cases are escalated through the stages of the process at the appropriate time, including cases requiring Category 1 authorisation or referral to internal support via Income teams or Resolution teams. You’ll work collaboratively with Customer Experience teams to ensure that a holistic approach to Lettings is maintained and build relationships with external stakeholders such as Local Authority Partners, other registered providers and contractors.
