Our client is an exciting high growth communications B2B SME based in Bath.

They are in a strong financial position and are now looking to recruit an insightful and hands on Finance Manager to join their friendly team. This is an employee focused business and there will be an opportunity to participate in an EMI scheme.

**Finance Manager - The Role**

Your key role will be to provide financial support to the business; ensuring all financial management obligations are met and improving financial processes to create a solid platform for their future growth.

Key responsibilities include:

- Lead, support and develop the finance team;
- Develop and review the financial reporting systems;
- Produce the monthly management accounts pack with variance analysis;
- Produce and monitor forecasts and budgets;
- Monitor and manage cash requirements and prepare?cash flow forecasts;
- Produce and present monthly performance reports to the board;
- Prepare VAT returns;
- Oversee payroll;
- Manage the AR and AP process;
- Perform month end reconciliations;
- Ensure that financial compliance requirements are met in respect of VAT, PAYE, statutory accounts and Corporation Tax;
- Prepare annual financial information to support the year end accounts and tax returns;
- Assist with ad hoc finance projects.

**The Successful Applicant**

Key attributes include:

- Hands on experience of managing a finance team;
- Experience of developing systems to improve reporting requirements;
- Good data analysis and Excel skills;
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Strong commercial acumen;
- A pragmatic, self-motivated and proactive mindset;
- Communications/technology sector experience desirable;
- Working knowledge of Sage 50 and Microsoft Dynamics 365 desirable.
