**About the Role**

This role provides an opportunity to become part of a dedicated team who will be working within our Skills for Life provision enabling students with SpLD, SLD and PMLD to develop their knowledge and skills so that they can work towards their own level of independence in the community.

The role involves working in collaboration with the Skills for Life Lead Practitioner to provide effective support to named students on our Skills for Life Pathway. It involves enabling students with support needs to access learning, college facilities, the local community and increase their confidence and independence. Ultimately preparing them for life outside of education and enabling them to take control of their future plans and make choices which will maximise their personal potential.
