Our well established client based in Cheshire is currently recruiting for a Customer Service Representative to join the team on a 6-month basis. Based in the technology sector, the company are at the forefront of science and cutting edge material technology.The Customer Service Representative will be a fast learner with exceptional customer care skills, always operating with the customers’ needs in mind.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Updating the CRM accurately with customer orders, delivery and costings.
- Coordinates order shipping and transportation and keeps customers informed of any delays or issues, as needed.
- Follows up with customers on accounts receivable in a timely manner and works closely with other teams to generate monthly credit limit reports.
- Ensures that customer requests meet the business’ manufacturing requirements while still fulfilling customer needs (e.g., product quantity, delivery dates).
- Manages single purchase orders with multiple release dates (i.e., blanket orders) and provides customer service management with volume orders to serve as input to short-term forecasting efforts.
- Fields and resolves (if possible) customer complaints by working with Accounting, Quality, Manufacturing, and other Commercial roles as needed.
- Communicates regularly with Account Managers to share customer-related information and issues.
- May be responsible for responding to enquiries for quotations for small, non-repeat business.
- May visit the customer site to build relationships and gain an understanding of their internal processes
**Essential Skills**:
- Customer care experience in a customer-facing role for at least 12 months
- Degree or equivalent
- Fluency in the English language
- Customer focused
- Acts with customers in mind
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers
- Maintains a current understanding of the division’s internal sales processes
- Fully leverages the businesses customer service processes to ensure reliable service for customers
- Demonstrate drive and commitment
- Demonstrates initiative
- Demonstrates knowledge of customers and their requirements
- Ensures customer requirements are met
