Hire Desk Controller

11.40 - £13.00 per hour Part Time/Permanent Car Hire Discount Scheme - You meet and greet our national and international commercial and private customers in the rental station - You walk customers to their vehicles - You provide personalised service - You enhance the customer’s experience by actively providing a high level of customer - You are responsible for the check-in and inspection for every vehicle - You ensure vehicles are delivered and collected between branches in a timely manner - You are actively providing support to our Rental Sales Agent and Senior Check-In Agents - Ensuring all health & safety and road legislation is adhered to at all times - To deliver & collect a range of vehicles to & from clients to a timely schedule, Assist in ensuring vehicles are clean & suitable for hire - Ensure all rental & supplementary paperwork is completed in full and accurately with all relevant signatures - Carry out driving licence/identification checks - Obtain fuel receipts for any fuel transaction completed - Ensure re-fuelling of all vehicles is in line with company policy - Report any issues regarding vehicles, paperwork, licence checks etcback to Branch staff in an efficient and timely fashion - Accurately complete driver timesheets for any task undertaken If you have the passion, drive and ambition to make a difference and have the following skills, experience and attributes this could be the role for you: - Full Driving Licence valid to drive in the UK - Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance e.g. changing tyres, bulbs etc - Basic knowledge of the Road Traffic Act, for example speed limits etc - Ability to work in all weather conditions - Ability to interact with people on all levels. - Previous experience in a customer service environment - Ability to demonstrate professionalism and enthusiasm - Good communication skills both written and oral - Great organisational skills and an ability to multi task - Strong PC skills - Ability to work in a Fast-paced and pressurised environment - A "how can I help you?" attitude - Must have a full driving license otherwise you will not be considered - Flexibility to work - days, weekends and holidays.
